Center Administration
Miss Jamie – Director
Jamie is the Director at Kids North Canton and brings more than 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has a true passion for teaching, guiding, and supporting young learners. Jamie is dedicated to helping children develop the skills and confidence they need for the future. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading, playing video games, cross-stitching, and spending time with her two daughters and their very spoiled dog. Her leadership and enthusiasm make her a wonderful resource for families seeking quality childcare in North Canton.
Miss Melissa – Off Site Assistant Director
Miss Melissa has been with All About Kids for over 12 years and has worked in childcare for 21 years. She believes that building a strong relationship with families and staff is key to providing the best care possible for every child. Outside of childcare Melissa also works as a nurse for a local hospital. She is the mother of 4 teenage kids and is very active in the Jackon Township Community with volunteer work and her kids sports and extra curriculars. In her free time, she loves spending time with her kids, enjoys baking cookies, going to the gym and amusement parks.
Infant Program
Miss Michelle – Team Lead & Infant Teacher
Michelle has been with All About Kids for nearly 3 years years and brings more than 26 years of experience working with young children. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and has a passion for teaching infants, helping them learn, grow, and succeed during these important early years. Michelle is married and a proud mom of three children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, solving puzzles, shopping, and caring for her two cats and two dogs. Families appreciate her nurturing personality, wealth of experience, and dedication to providing a loving start for every child in her care.
Miss Melissa – Infant Teacher
Melissa has been part of All About Kids for over 7 years, caring for infants with love, patience, and a gentle touch. She enjoys doing crafts, being involved with her children’s Boy Scouts activities, and cheering on her favorite sports teams, the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Melissa creates a safe, nurturing environment for the youngest learners and is committed to helping every child feel comfortable and cared for in our daycare family.

Toddler Program
Miss Kaitlen - Toddler Teacher
With over 13 years of experience in childcare, Katie has been with All About Kids for 10 years. She absolutely loves working with toddlers and watching them grow, learn, and explore. Katie’s joy for teaching shines through in everything she does, making her classroom a place full of discovery and fun. She is passionate about building strong foundations for children and helping them reach important early milestones. Parents appreciate her energy, dedication, and caring nature.

Preschool Program
Miss Mikaela – Pre-K Teacher
Mikaela has been with Kids North Canton for 10 years and is a beloved Pre-K teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently working toward her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. Mikaela is passionate about early learning and takes pride in preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. At home, she’s a proud mom to a little boy and enjoys reading, creating art, and spending quality time with her family. Families love her creativity, patience, and dedication to every child’s success.
Support Staff
Miss Melanie - Cook
Miss Melanie has worked in childcare for 18 years and has been with All About Kids for 10 years. Melanie is very versatile in her work. She currently works as our cook and fills in to cover the front desk when needed. Outside of work, she is married with 2 adult children and 2 grandsons. She is a Sunday school teacher and enjoys the Browns, the Cavs, and ice cream in her free time.
School Age Children
Shelby Mercer– School Age Teacher
Shelby has been with Kids North Canton for 9 months and brings a fresh enthusiasm to the team. She has a college degree in Intervention Specialist Education and experience working with autistic students, giving her unique insight into supporting children with diverse learning needs. Shelby is also a big fan of Reba McEntire and the Kansas City Chiefs. Her positive attitude and commitment to helping school-age children succeed make her a valuable part of our program.
